Position: Hardware Device Technician


Job Details
 

Your job will be to help the technical department in repairing Windows & Apple based laptops, desktops, smartphones and tablets. You will also be expected to help out customers if required.  

Working hours will be as follows*:
0830 – 1245Hrs / 1600 – 1900Hrs – Daily
0900 – 1300Hrs – Saturday

*Shift might also be considered depending on work schedule

 

Or

 

Shift basis (alternate every week)

0830 - 1700HRS - Daily (with 30min break)

0900 – 1300Hrs – Saturday

and

1030 - 1900HRS - Daily (with 30min break)

0900 – 1300Hrs – Saturday

 

You are expected to have:

  • A hands on approach with a strong will to meet and exceed customer expectations
  • The ability to work under pressure
  • A good understanding of hardware diagnostics & repairs on Microsoft Windows devices and applications.
  • A good understanding of hardware diagnostics & repairs on Apple iMacs, Macbooks, iPhones and iPads.
  • Be willing to learn and work in an effective manner with an eye on efficiency.
  • Be fluent in English.

What will help you:

  • Apple certification. (ACiT and/or ACMT preferred). ACSP and ACP also accepted.
  • Microsoft or Cisco Certification.
  • Previous experience in this post or in a similar technical environment.
  • Any other hardware repair skills including soldering, Liquid damage treatment and Microsoldering.

Position: Customer Care Executive

 

Your job will be to help the customer care team furnish quotes to clients, follow up technical work, welcoming clients in person in a courteous/efficient manner and dealing with telephone support/pricing requests. 

What is expected from the applicant: -

  • Be fluent in maltese and english both written and spoken
  • Be a team player and ready to work in a fast paced environment
  • Present yourself in a friendly, outgoing manner, be open to feedback, be patient and have an outstanding customer service understanding.
  • Be knowledgeable in I.T. Components and/or repairs that can be carried out (this will include tablets, laptops, smartphones etc)
  • Be organised and pro-active

What will help you: -

  • Experience in a similar post dealing directly with clients
  • Past experience in a secretarial post
  • Customer care certification
  • Past experience in a technical post (both via telephone or in direct contact with clients)
